About Mile High Youth Corps
_ The mission of Mile High
Youth Corps is to help youth make a difference in themselves and their
community through meaningful service opportunities and educational experiences.
MHYC has offices in Denver and Colorado Springs with youth Corpsmembers, ages 18-24, serving 15 counties along the Front Range. The primary focus of our work is education, the environment, and youth employment. The youth that join MHYC are provided with paid work experience and skills related to:

- high school diploma or GED completion
- job placement after MHYC service and resume building
- AmeriCorps Education Awards, which can be used for secondary education or student loan payments
